Last night we had a precursor to Edouard. Storms rolled in from the EAST (the reverse of normal) and pounded us hard, once in the early morning, then big time about 8 pm. The winds almost swept everything off the balcony.
I shot a little video, which I'll post here. Note the difference in storm sounds when the door opens/closes - the difference is due to the security window film on the sliding glass door - protecting anyone inside from flying debris - like the chairs and plants the winds were throwing around earlier...
Within the next 24 hours, Edouard should be a Cat 1 rolling over Texas and perhaps Houston. Standby
